As the philanthropic arm of the Group, Axiata Foundation champions programmes that invest in people and communities. Through a focus on education, digital empowerment, and sustainability, the Foundation strengthens social impact efforts that transcend markets and build resilience, especially among underserved and marginalised groups.
Through our Education pillar, we deliver structured leadership programmes that empower high-performing students to reach their full potential in the digital world. We also promote equitable access to education through financial support and targeted skills development, with a focus on women, girls and students from underprivileged backgrounds.
We are building a healthier planet through collaboration and advocacy with programmes that create public awareness of environmental issues, drive meaningful climate action and promote the circular economy.
Axiata Foundation is our dedicated platform for social impact, focused on uplifting marginalised and underserved communities to help realise a digitally inclusive future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Our initiatives are anchored in three core pillars: Education, Community Investments, and the Environment. In 2024, we invested a total of RM6.6 million across these areas, positively impacting the lives of 4,819 individuals in the markets where we operate.
Beyond financial support, the Foundation also fosters a culture of giving back. Through our AxiataCares volunteerism programme, 142 employees in Malaysia contributed approximately 650 hours in 2024 to support community-driven initiatives.
