Speaking Up & Whistleblowing

Axiata Groupwide Speak Up Channel

At Axiata Group, conducting business ethically is fundamental to our license to operate. To uphold this commitment, we have established a robust Speak Up Channel that empowers employees, vendors, and stakeholders to report concerns related to violations of our Code of Conduct, suspected misconduct, or illegal / unethical behaviour – without fear of retaliation or unfair treatment.

Who Can Speak Up?

We encourage anyone – including third parties with a business relationship with Axiata or its subsidiaries – to speak up when they encounter or witness non-compliant situations. These may include, but are not limited to sexual harassment, bullying, abuse of power, fraud, corruption or conflict of interest.

How to Report a Concern

The Axiata Groupwide Speak Up Channel is hosted by an independent provider and is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

  1. Submit a Web Form
You can report a concern by filling out a web form at the Speak Up Channel. You may choose to remain anonymous or provide your name and contact details.
  2. Provide Factual Details
Please include as much factual information and supporting evidence as possible. Vague or incomplete reports may hinder the investigation process.
  3. Track Progress
After submission, you will receive a Case Number. This allows you to log into the system to check for updates from the Investigation Team or to provide additional information.

What Happens Next?

All reported concerns are received and assessed by Axiata Group Internal Audit.

  • If the concern warrants investigation, an investigator or Investigation Team will be assigned to conduct a fair, objective, and confidential investigation. If the concern is substantiated, appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken.
  • If the concern is a query or suggestion, it will be forwarded to the relevant personnel for further action.
