Gim has been with Axiata since 2004, having joined the then TM International Sdn Bhd as the Head of Legal. He has been involved in many of the key corporate transactions of Axiata including but not limited to the demerger of Telekom Malaysia Berhad into Axiata Group Berhad, the merger of Celcom Axiata Berhad and Digi.com Berhad and the merger of PT XL Axiata and PT Smartfren. He is widely recognised in many legal publications as one of the top general counsels in the region. Prior to joining Axiata, he was working as a lawyer in Malaysia and Australia.
