  1. Can I start my career with Axiata?

    The Axiata Corporate Centre only hires experienced professionals. This is in order to play its role as a corporate centre adding value to its subsidiaries, the operating companies. Hence, the entry point for a fresh young talent would be at one of our operating companies, which would be the best place to start one’s career in the mobile telco industry.   3. What recruitment programmes do you have for fresh young talents?

    We aim to recruit a certain number of fresh young talents into our operating companies every year as part of our talent supply through our Young Talent Programme.     Yes, there is always an opportunity to work in one of our overseas subsidiaries or in the Corporate Centre if there is a good match between what your skillset and their business requirements. This will most likely happen at a slightly later stage of your career. Back to top ↑
  6. How long do I have to work in Axiata Group's Operating Companies before I can join Axiata Corporate Centre?

    There is no set time. It would depend on what you can offer to the Corporate Centre in terms of your skillset and the job availability at the Corporate Centre. But it may not be for the first five years of your career as we feel it is important for you to build your telco competency in an operating company first, being an important building block to a successful telco career.
