Working Experience: Farid is currently a Director in the Investments Division of Khazanah. Prior to his appointment as Director with effect from 1 April 2010, he was since 2007, the Senior Vice President of the Managing Director’s Office at Khazanah. He has been with Khazanah since 2004 and has also served in Khazanah’s transformation management office. Prior to that, Farid was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. for two years. Farid was Alternate Director on the Board of Axiata prior to his appointment as Director.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, United Kingdom and holds a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) from Cambridge University, United Kingdom, with a specialisation in Chemical Engineering. He graduated with First Class Honours.
